If he will easily turn into one, why not get more power with it?
The Dark Emerald is a Demon stone, slowly sapping your conscience away to have nothing but power and chaos at your grasp. The only person who can have a resistance to it is Blade, because he IS a ID (which is a part of your ego that's feral and based on instinct)
